| Olympic Truce begins tonight with Peace Vigil |

The 100 Days of Peace before and after the Games has just begun with the start of an all-night Vigil at St Martin-in-the-Fields at 11pm. People of all faiths and nationalities, including Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs and Muslims are taking part. Brazilians are singing, London Citizens will witness to their CitySafe Havens campaign, and award-winning children’s choirs will be joining tomorrow morning (Saturday) in ‘Songs of Praise for Peace’.
Lord Michael Bates, who publicised the Truce by walking from Athens to London will join the Vigil and Graham Kendrick, internationally renowned worship leader will lead some of the singing The Bishop of London and the Archbishop of Westminster and representatives of many world faiths will be taking part in the closing service tomorrow morning.
