Appeal for participants in natural family planning survey

I am undertaking some research on Catholics and natural family planning (NFP) - to see how well or badly informed they are. I work for Sacred Heart parish in Wadhurst, East Sussex as a confirmation catechist - having passed my exams through Our Lady's Catechists.

I hope to write up my findings when I have sufficient information. I will also present the findings to the hierarchy in England and Wales.

So - if you married in the Catholic Church, was NFP part of your marriage preparation classes, or was the subject not brought up at all?

If it was part of the course, was there easy access to NFP teachers - or pamphlets on the subject?

If you are an NFP teacher - do you do it voluntarily - how did you train - do you have too much or too little work?

If you are a parish priest - do you actively promote this teaching by way of posters in the porch? Are you able to access teachers of NFP? Or indeed find volunteers who can train as teachers?

If you are a bishop - is there a diocesan policy for including this teaching in the marriage preparation classes? How is the training of teachers funded or do you rely totally on volunteers? If so, do enough come forward to be trained?

If you are none of the above - do you have an opinion on this subject?
