Art & Prayer course at Ealing Abbey

A Tuesday evening Art and Prayer group begins at Ealing Abbey in West London on 8 May. Led by Br Matthew Freeman and Karolina Stolarska the evening is about 'deepening relationship with God with mutual support and response through art.' It will feature meditations from the Rule of St Benedict and Scripture. 'No skills required - just a child-like openness of heart.'
There will be two four week courses. The first one, running from May 8 - 29 May from 7-9pm focusing on themes of Silence, Heart (Authenticity), Humility,The Ordinary.
The second Tuesday series from 12 June – 3 July from 7-9pm focusing on themes of Stability, Community (Love of others), Suffering and Transformation, Death/Resurrection/Heaven
Cost: £20 per course, (covering rent of room and costs of basic collage and painting materials - please do bring your own specialist art materials if you like), or free for the unwaged.
