Filipino website offers prayers for those who have died

The Filipino Catholic Bishops Conference have set up a website on which people can offer Masses and prayers for those who have died. Traditionally this is the day on which millions of Filipinos attend special Masses and visit the graves of their loved ones. The site will enable all those working overseas to pray together with people back home.

From November 1 to 8, the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines said it will offer Masses for those people who make requests through posts on the website.

"For those who cannot make it to your parishes, especially Filipinos in other countries or the seafarers, you may request for Masses to be celebrated for your beloved dead," the website says.
