The Catholic Voices bureau has just released a new film explaining their work. Launched in February 2010, the bureau is a group of Catholics from many walks of life,  who have come together to offer their services to the media as spokespersons, able to articulate  and discuss the Church’s positions on major contentious issues.

The team have been attending briefings and  professional media skills workshops in preparation for Pope Benedict’s visit in September.
Catholic Voices is a project of the Catholic Union. While it has the blessing of the Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales,  members will not be speaking officially for the Church. All media enquiries seeking official statements should be directed to the Catholic Communications Network.
