Catholic media chief steps down
Mark Morley, first director of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales' Catholic Communications Service has announced that he is stepping down from the post. He will leave the CCS next month. Morley, who began working for the Bishops Conference in October 2001, (taking over from the now Bishop Kieran Conry, as head of the old Catholic Media Office), is moving to Scotland where he will be Network Public Relations Manager at Scottish Enterprise. In a statement he said that senior press officer Oliver Wilson had been asked to look after the day to day running of the CCS, until a new director is appointed.
