Controversial Rwandan bishop arrives home

Bishop Augustine Misago has returned to his country after being cleared of involvement in the 1994 Rwandan genocide. On his arrival at Kigali airport, Bishop Misago said he would continue to serve his people. Earlier this month, Bishop Augustine visited the Vatican to thank the Pope for his support during his trial on genocide charges. Bishop Misago was held on remand for a year in Kigali while allegations against him were investigated. He was the highest ranking Catholic to be accused of participating in the Rwandan genocide.
