Green Investment Roadshow comes to London

After a summer of record-breaking temperatures and wildfires, and as the Prime Minister considers opening North Sea new oil and gas fields, Operation Noah and a coalition of faith-based organisations have announced a series of nationwide Green Investment Roadshows. The initiative invites church leaders, treasurers, and congregation members to learn how to align their church finances with climate solutions and social justice.

While global financial initiatives face setbacks, the global Church holds approximately £191 billion in investments - with tens of billions based in the UK alone. As a global hub for energy sector financing, actions taken by UK church investors carry significant international impact. The Green Investment Roadshows aim to transform these passive financial assets into active tools for creation care.

"We already have ingenious solutions to our changing climate - from offshore wind farms and clean transport to resilient farming methods," said Clare Fussell, Campaign Director at Operation Noah. "What is missing is the investment to make them equitable, scalable, and fast. As Christians, we have a staggering opportunity to put our money where our faith is."

The roadshow series continues in London before traveling across the UK. Attendees will hear from expert investment panels, discover direct impact investment opportunities, and learn strategies to influence public sector pensions.

The Green Investment Roadshow is coming to Friends House, Euston Road, NW1 2BJ on Monday, 7 September from 9.30am -2pm
