Janusz Sikora-Sikorski recalls Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton with Janusz and his wife and daughter Grażyna and Kasia during her European tour.
Janusz Sikora-Sikorski, KC*SG, who leads several charities and is producer of the annual Chopin Festival and Polish Carols at Westminster Cathedral, has fond memories of Dolly Parton.
The company he worked for - the Agency Group Ltd (founded by another Catholic Neil Warnock), were agents for all her live performances in Europe - including her historic performance on June 29, 2014, on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury - which attracted one of the largest crowds ever seen at the festival.
Janusz told ICN: "During her time here, I presented her with an icon of Our Lady of Chestochowa. She said she was delighted to receive it and told me she was going to keep it in her private chapel."
"Dolly Parton was an incredible person - coming from such a poor family background - she was the fourth of 12 children who grew up in a one room hut - yet she went on to achieve so much. She was an outstanding human being - an example for everyone - spreading love worldwide through her music and her many charitable projects. Everybody loved her."
