Online talk with Parish Priest from last Christian town in West Bank

A special online discussion will take place today, Saturday, August 15 at 7pm UK time, 2pm EST, with Father Bashar Fawadleh, Parish Priest of Taybeh at Christ the Redeemer, in Taybeh, the last remaining fully Christian village in the West Bank.

Taybeh and its people have fallen victim to repeated violent incursions by extremist Israeli settlers, threatening residents and their property. Israel recently declared the town a closed military zone in response, preventing most people, including foreign observers, from entering the town. Father Bashar Fawadleh will provide a firsthand account of the situation on the ground, while also discussing ways in which our community can support Taybeh and its people.
