London: Faith and environment groups to gather together on Earth Day

A coalition of faith and environmental activist groups will come together in London on Earth Day, Wednesday 22 April, to celebrate our connection to the earth and each other.
Christian Climate Action will be meeting at 10.30am outside the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero, at the entrance at 55 Whitehall, London SW1A 2HP (the rest of the march is assembling at Trafalgar Square to march to Parliament Square, we will join them on their way down Whitehall)
The short march will culminate in Parliament Square with a walking meditation and prayers, an Earth celebration a rally, to challenge the government to uphold our sacred, shared duty to protect the earth and a shared plant based lunch
Come as you are or embrace the theme of Earth Day through nature-themed costumes and props.
Groups involved include: Christian Climate Action , Laudati Si members, Dirty Water, Extinction Rebellion UK, Fossil Free London, Friends of the Earth, Green Party, Greenpeace, Sacred Earth Activism, Safe Landing, XR Buddhists, RoR London, XR London, AMOC Project and Axe Drax.
