London: Tenebrae: A Holy Fool?

The Ecumenical Partnership of St Giles Cripplegate, Jewin Welsh Church, St Joseph's Catholic Church, and Wesley's Chapel and Leysian Mission, on the edge of the City of London, will celebrate their annual contemporary form of Tenebrae, Spy Wednesday, 1 April, 2026, at 8.30pm.

The candlelight service, with the Lamentation chants of Jeremiah and modern readings, takes place in St Giles Cripplegate Church, Fore Street, Barbican EC2Y 8DA and will be live-streamed: https://youtube.com/live/qI-pRw9UnKI?feature=share

Since Spy Wednesday is also 1 April, All Fools Day, the readings will be based on the medieval tradition theme of "Holy Fool". All are welcome!
