Scotland: Mass protest planned at Faslane Nuclear Submarine Base

On Saturday 14th March the Scottish Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (SCND) are organising a mass demonstration to oppose British nuclear weapons at Faslane Naval Base, at a time when the world has never been closer to nuclear war.

The world needs as many people as possible to join this protest!

For those based in the North of Scotland, CND Northeast Scotland has organised coaches to the demonstration - pick up between 7.50 and 8am from Aberdeen on Skene Street just behind His Majesty's Theatre. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure.

The bus from Aberdeen will make three stops along the way to Faslane in Dundee, Perth and Stirling:

Dundee Pickup between 9.35am and 9.40am at the Kingsway Retail Park Bus Stop DD3 8RX
Perth pickup between 10.16 and 10.21 from Perth Broxden Park and Ride PH2 0PX
Stirling pickup between 11.03 and 11.08 from Stirling Castleview Park and Ride FK9 4TW
The coach is scheduled to arrive at Faslane at 12.30 and leave at 15.30, returning to Aberdeen for 20.00. Please bring your own food.
