Demand that Palantir contracts are cancelled

The British government is handing huge sums of public money to Palantir, a notorious US corporation that supplies Israel with AI and surveillance technology used as an essential part of its genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Yesterday evening, we protested at Palantir's secret reception, with politicians and senior civil servants, hosted to celebrate winning a £240million contract from the Ministry of Defence.

Will you write to the Prime Minister to demand that he cancel the government's contracts with Palantir?

The government is pushing ahead with the roll out of the NHS Federated Data Platform, which is being developed and maintained by Palantir. The platform will store sensitive patient medical data.

In addition, the government is handing out fresh contracts to Palantir. In February 2025, Starmer visited Palantir's US headquarters, accompanied by the disgraced former ambassador Peter Mandelson. The following September, the government signed a "strategic partnership agreement" with Palantir, to make Britain its "European HQ for defence". Three months later, Palantir was awarded a £240million contract by the Ministry of Defence to provide data analytics software. This is the largest ever contract awarded to Palantir by the department. Palantir's head in Britain, Louis Mosley, even sits on the MOD's Defence Industrial Joint Council, its primary forum for engagement with suppliers.

This is despite Palantir's role in enabling Israel's atrocities against Palestinians. In January 2024, Palantir entered into a "strategic partnership" with Israel's Ministry of Defence to develop technology and tools to be used in "war-related missions." This technology has been used to accelerate Israel's genocide in Gaza, by using AI technology for its bombing campaigns.

Palantir also provides technology used as part of Israel's surveillance apparatus in the West Bank. Palestinians face constant and invasive observation and monitoring leading to restricted movement and arbitrary arrest and detention in Israel prisons, where they face systematic torture.

Palantir should not receive a penny of public money. Write to the Prime Minister to demand that all contracts with Palantir are cancelled.

The close relationship between the British government and Palantir is abhorrent, and we must act to put a stop to it.
