A Message on behalf of the Rt Rev Kenneth Nowakowski OBE, Bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of the Holy Family of London reads:
'As we approach the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian armed forces, we continue to hold in our thoughts all those affected by this unjust and deadly war, and we remain hopeful that it will soon come to an end and that peace founded on justice will prevail.
'To mark this solemn anniversary, a special interfaith prayer service will be held at the Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in London on 24 February 2026, beginning at 11am. Religious leaders from different faith traditions will be invited to offer a prayer from their own tradition, and the service will also include several musical contributions.
'The service will conclude around 12noon, at which time two minutes of silence will be observed in remembrance of all those who have lost their lives in defence of Ukraine.'
