St Benedict's School to host Inaugural Women in Leadership Conference

St Benedict's School is hosting its first Women in Leadership Conference on Friday 13 March 2026. The one-day event is designed for women preparing for leadership, middle and senior leaders and anyone with the ambition to step into a leadership role.

St Benedict's School, Ealing, will host its first Women in Leadership Conference on Friday 13 March 2026, marking a significant milestone in the school's commitment to values-led leadership, diversity and inclusion. Taking place during the week of International Women's Day, the conference will bring together educators, leaders and professionals from across sectors to explore how to strengthen and sustain the pipeline of female leaders.

Hosted onsite at St Benedict's School, the conference will celebrate women's achievements while addressing the practical and systemic barriers that continue to limit progression into leadership roles.

Through keynote talks, workshops and networking opportunities, attendees will gain actionable strategies to support women to step forward, lead with confidence and drive meaningful change in their organisations.

Speaking about the conference, Fiona Allen, Deputy Head (Academic) at St Benedict's School, said: "At St Benedict's, we believe leadership should be thoughtful, values-led and inclusive. Our Spring Conference brings together voices from across sectors to share practical ideas, challenge thinking and support women to step forward and thrive as leaders. Timed to coincide with International Women's Week, it's an opportunity to reflect, connect and leave with real strategies to make lasting change."

The conference will feature keynote speakers including Nadia Nagamootoo, Founder and CEO of Avenir and author of Beyond Discomfort, who will explore The Leadership Imperative: Why the World Needs More Women Leaders. She will be joined by Katie Tomlinson, experienced school leader, Head of Primary at the British School Manila, and Co-Founder and Co-Chair of WISE (Women in International School Empowerment) and the Mentorship Hub, presenting on The Power of Sponsorship and Strategic Networking, along with Pavita Cooper, Campaigner, Speaker and Chair of the 30% Club UK, the longest-standing gender campaign raising awareness of female CEOs.

Conference highlights include:

· Leadership identity and self-awareness workshops

· Practical strategies to overcome bias and imposter syndrome

· Tools for influencing, negotiating and leading with confidence

· Cross-sector networking opportunities

· Action planning for immediate implementation

The conference is open to professionals of all genders and industries who share a commitment to advancing gender equality and empowering women in leadership, with a particular focus on education.
