Churches Together in Westminster AGM

St Martin in the Fields, Trafalgar Square
'From Strangers to Neighbours: Christian Hospitality in a Changing Asylum Landscape' is the theme of this year's Churches Together in Westminster AGM.
The talk will be given by George Lapshynov. Drawing on Theos's recent report: 'From Strangers to Neighbours: The Church and the Integration of Refugees', he will be exploring how UK churches are quietly but powerfully helping asylum seekers become neighbours.
The talk sets recent shifts in asylum policy alongside Christ's call to welcome the stranger. And through stories from congregations across the country, it highlights both the pressures churches face and the practices that work, inviting Christian communities to embody hopeful, relational integration in an increasingly precarious asylum system.
Churches Together in Westminster Annual General Meeting takes place on Monday 19 January at 6pm. Followed by refreshments.
At Hinde Street Methodist Church, 19 Thayer Street, W1U 2QJ. All welcome.
