Fr John Buckley RIP

The death has occurred of Fr John Buckley in Cork, on December 3rd 2025 peacefully at Marymount, in the presence of his loving family. Fr John, who served for years with the St Patrick's Missionary Society, Kiltegan, in Niigeria and also in the Dioceses of Westminster and Portsmouth, was brother of the late Bernadette, Theresa, Julia (Forsythe) and Margaret. Fondly remembered by his loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces. grandnephews, relatives, friends and parishioners.

Visitation at O'Connor Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Friday, December 5th, from 4pm - 5pm with Prayers at 4.45pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, December 6th, at 10am in the North Cathedral. Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver's Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
