St Cecilia's Music Festival at St Mary's University

Strawberry Hill Overseas and Community Concern (SHOCC) invites you to a celebration of St Mary's 175th Anniversary with St Cecilia's Music Festival which takes place from Friday 21st November -Sunday 23rd November 2025.

Highlights include:

Friday 21st November, 7.30pm
Fundraising Concert for the girls of Kisaki School, Tanzania
Sibelius Violin Concerto with Julia Yoon (violin) and Michael Bevan (Piano)
Gerald Finzi Song Cycle with John Holland-Avery (Baritone)
Vivaldi Four Seasons Winter and Romantic Miniatures Gideon Gray (cello)
in the Waldegrave Drawing Room.

Saturday 22nd November 4.30pm
Vespers sung by the Southwell Consort
in the University Chapel

Saturday 22nd November 7.30pm
Romantic Songs Dominic Bevan (tenor) and Rachael Shipard (piano)
in the Waldegrave Drawing Room

Sunday 23rd November 3.30pm
St Mary's New Sounds
featuring Bach and Buxtehude Organ Compositions with Ian Coleman (organ)
and introducing St Mary's Choral Scholars 2025
Mass will follow at 5pm
