Pope Leo signs his first Apostolic Exhortation Dilexi te

Pope Leo XIV signed his first Apostolic Exhortation: Dilexi te', (I have Loved You') this morning, the feast of St Francis of Assisi.

The Holy See Press Office stated that on Saturday, 4 October at 8.30am, in the private library of the Apostolic Palace, Pope Leo XIV signed his Apostolic Exhortation Dilexi te in the presence of Archbishop Edgar Peña Parra, Substitute for General Affairs of the Secretariat of State.

The document was a work in progress during the last months of Pope Francis' papacy. Pope Leo put the finishing touches to it.

Dilexi te will be presented on Thursday, 9 October, at 11.30am at the Holy See Press Office.
