Talk: 'Sicilian Beauty' by Fr Alexander Lucie-Smith

St Mary's, Hampstead. Wiki Image
'How do I look?' is a question we all ask ourselves and other people but no nation has taken this to the lengths of the ltalians, for whom bella figura is so important. Moreover, in Sicily, and of the Mafia, bandits and the Catholic Church, bella figura takes on a meaning all of its own.
Fr Alexander Lucie-Smith will explore these themes in his talk on Sunday 15 June, 4-5pm, St Mary's Church, 4 Holly Walk, Hampstead, London NW3 6QU. Fr Lucie-Smith is the author of a series of novels about the Sicilian Mafia including 'The Chemist of Catania.'
