Oliver McTernan to speak at Pax Christi AGM

Oliver McTernan will be the keynote speaker at Pax Christ's Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 7 June at Maria Fidelis School, Euston, London from 10.30am.
Oliver is the Founder and a Co-Director of Forward Thinking, an independent charity working at a political level to find durable solutions to conflict in the Middle East, North Africa, and Gulf region.
A long-standing friend of Pax Christi, Oliver has an established background in conflict resolution and mediation. He was a Visiting Fellow of the Weatherhead Centre for International Affairs at Harvard University from 2000-2003. He was responsible for initiating the first post-Kosovo conflict talks between NATO and the Belgrade government. His book 'Violence in God's Name' explores the role of religion in an age of conflict. He broadcasts regularly on radio and television.
The event is open to Pax Christi members and non-members alike and will also be live streamed.
