'No Money for Nuclear Weapons' ICAN Week of Action

September is a busy month for Pax Christi. This week, 16-22 September, they are supporting the 'No Money for Nuclear Weapons' week of action on nuclear spending from ICAN (The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons).

With more than $90 billion (£68,162, 850) being spent on nuclear weapons per year by nuclear-armed countries, the campaign highlights the money wasted on nuclear weapons that could be spent elsewhere, such as healthcare, education and sanitation.
