Pope has 'mild flu-like' condition

Pope Francis cancelled his appointments on Saturday morning because he has a "mild, flu-like condition." The Vatican press office said the decision was made "as a precautionary measure."
All the Holy Father's engagements last week, including the General Audience on Wednesday were suspended, because he was taking part in the annual Lenten Spiritual Exercises, with members of the Roman Curia. He was due to return to his normal schedule today, meeting with a group of deacons in the morning. That event has been postponed until the Pope's health is better.
