Catholic Parish Summit (CPS) have just announced that His Eminence, Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś, Archbishop of Łódź in Poland, will be attending their conference. Cardinal Ryś joins the list of clergy celebrating Mass at the conference, including Archbishop Mark O'Toole, CBCEW chair for evangelisation and discipleship and Bishop Marcus Stock from the Diocese of Leeds.

Taking place in Harrogate on 12-14 June 2024, CPS promises to be a catalyst for revitalising parishes for mission, under the theme "sending disciples, equipping leaders, and launching the transformation of our nations."

"We are delighted to have Cardinal Ryś join CPS, along with delegates from Poland," Dr Hannah Vaughan-Spruce, Executive Director of Divine Renovation UK said. "Over the next 10 years, the Catholic parish system will face enormous challenges and this conference will host these pressing conversations: how do we approach amalgamations and multi-church parishes in a missionary key? How will leadership in parishes change? Why is healthy self-leadership in the Church now more critical than ever before?"

"As we spread the news about CPS, we see more and more that there's an immense desire for the renewal of parishes, even beyond the UK. Currently, CPS is shaping up not only as a UK conference but a global conference happening in the UK."

As of February, attendees include delegates from all over Europe, the United States, Canada, and New Zealand.

Conference keynotes have also been released at: www.catholicparishsummit.com/programme , including plenary sessions led by Sr Miriam James Heidland, Michelle Moran (President, International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services), Rev Stephen Foster, and Fr Mathias Thelen (Encounter Ministries).

"You will notice that the keynotes really do touch on each lay person's role in the renewal of the Church," Dr Vaughan-Spruce said "CPS is for everyone. Regardless of whether you're a lay person who cares about the future of the Church, a bishop, someone who belongs to a movement or ministry, a priest, deacon, parent, catechist, or young adult - there's something for you at CPS."

Registration for CPS is ongoing at : www.catholicparishsummit.com. Until 29th February, there is a special rate for groups of four or more. Priests new to Divine Renovation can get their ticket at half price. To avail of this rate over the next 7 days, priests can email us at team@catholicparishsummit.com.
