City of London Ecumenical Partnership to celebrate Unity Week

Wesley's Chapel & Leysian Mission

Jewin Welsh Church, St Giles Cripplegate, St Joseph's Catholic Church, and Wesley's Chapel & Leysian Mission, all on the edge of the City of London, will renew their formal Ecumenical Partnership in a Service for the start of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. (18th - 25th January).

The Service takes place at Wesley's Chapel, 49 City Road, London EC1Y 1AY, on Thursday, 18 January 2024, at 12.45 followed by refreshments, with the theme: Go and do likewise. All are welcome !

For 2024, materials were prepared by an ecumenical team from Burkina Faso facilitated by the local Chemin Neuf Community (CCN). Brothers and sisters from the Catholic Archdiocese of Ouagadougou, Protestant Churches, ecumenical bodies and the CCN in Burkina Faso collaborated generously in drafting the prayers and reflections.
