London: Spirit of Ukraine Orchestral Fundraising Concert

The Spirit of Ukraine Orchestral Fundraising Concert, in aid of the Lviv Children's Hospital in Ukraine, takes place this Friday, 17 November 2023 at 7.30pm, at the Marylebone Theatre, 35 Park Road, London, NW1 6XT (near Baker Street tube station),

Hosted by the Ukrainian Cultural Association, this beautiful concert has been organised to raise money for a good cause: Lviv Children's hospital which provide lifesaving care for the most innocent lives in Ukraine.

The programme features music by: Mozart, and Janacek together with the Ukrainian composers: M Berezovsky, M Lysenko, V Barvinsky, YStankovych, V Matviychuk and A Sirenko , together with poetry of T Shevchenko, L Ukrainka, V Amelina (in English) and others

Performers include: Lichtar International Orchestra, Conducted by Alisa Zaika. Soloists: Sofiia Matviienko- Flute. Stefan Bulyha - Clarinet, Bandura duo- Dvi Doli with Julia Kogut - Kalynyuk and Kateryna Trachuk; BBC actress - Marcella Riordan. The producer is Alla Sirenko.

Tickets: General Admission: £25. Children under 13: Free.

Book on the Eventbrite link which will be registering for tickets till 12PM on the day of the concert.

If later - cash payments at the door will be accepted, subject to the availability.

Refreshments with fine organic wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the interval. There will be a charity souvenir cash sale before and during the interval will be displayed.
