Ecumenical Prayer Vigils for Synod

On 30 September 2023, a special ecumenical prayer vigil will take place on St Peter's Square, in Rome in the presence of Pope Francis, Patriarch Bartholomew, Archbishop Justin Welby and leaders of many Churches, to unite us in praise and silence, in listening to the Word.

Christians from all Churches around the world are invited to journey together as the people of God, to entrust to the Holy Spirit the works of the first session of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in October.

In London, the Taize group will be gathering on Saturday, 30th September at 7.30pm in Notre Dame de France, 5 Leicester Place, WC2H 7BX, London to pray for the Synod.
