Registration is now open for the upcoming symposium, 'A Tent of Learning' - Synodal Conversation and Conversion in Receptive Ecumenism.
The event will be hosted by The Society for Ecumenical Studies, in conjunction with the Centre for Catholic Studies, Durham University, and the London Jesuit Centre. Inspired by a recent Durham University symposium, speakers from seven Christian traditions will reflect together on how a Church can be truly "synodal".
This full day of conversation and exploration about the interrelationship between ecclesial conversion and renewal and pathways in Receptive Ecumenism extends the work of the June 21st - 23rd Durham symposium, 'Learning on the Way: Receptive Ecumenism and the Catholic Synodal Pathway'.
The Welcome will be given by Rev Dr Dominic Robinson, SJ, Vice-chair of the Society for Ecumenical Studies and Parish Priest of Farm Street Church
The Keynote Lecture will be delivered by Rev Dr Callan Slipper, Chair of the Society for Ecumenical Studies. Other speakers include Prof Paul D. Murray and Dr Clare Watkins.
