The Cardinal thanks the priests who are retiring for their years of ministry in the Diocese and assures them of his prayers as they prepare for the next stage of their priestly life and ministry. To all who are taking up new appointments the Cardinal expresses his gratitude for their acceptance of these and, with him, we assure them of our prayers and best wishes. Gratitude, too, for the ministry of those who are leaving the Diocese for pastures new. We are grateful to the Religious Orders who share in the ministry and mission of the Church in the Diocese of Westminster. Their partnership with us is of benefit to the people we serve and enriches parish life with the charisms the Religious share with us.
