Mansfield: Children make special cards for grandparents and elders

For the Day of Prayer for Grandparents and Elders yesterday, children from St Philip Neri with St Bede primary school in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, made special greeting cards to give out to them after Mass, Sr Susan Richert PBVM writes.

The cards were beautifully made and decorated. Some children wrote messages in Polish and English. They reminded their grandparents and elders how special they are and wrote their own prayers and blessings for them.

Needless to say the grandparents and elders were delighted at the remembrance.
