London: Conscientious Objectors Day 2022

The National Ceremony for International Conscientious Objectors Day will takes place at the Commemorative Stone in Tavistock Square, London on Sunday, 15th May from 1 - 2pm.

There will be reading of names and a moment of silence.

Speakers will include:

- Sahar Vardi, an Israeli conscientious objector imprisoned for refusing military service.
- Kika Markham, actor and daughter of Second World War CO David Markham
- Semih Sapmaz, from War Resisters' International, on the struggles of COs around the world today

The event is being hosted by Michael Mears, actor and playwright
