Links for COP26

The United Nations climate talks (also known as the Conference of Parties or COP) took place 31 October - 12 November 2021 in Glasgow. COP26 was the biggest summit ever hosted in the UK - with around 30,000 attendees.

It was the most significant climate event since the 2015 Paris Agreement. That was because COP26 was the first summit when countries reported back on their progress since the Paris Agreement and set out more ambitious goals for ending their contribution to climate change.
