Fellowship and Aid to the Christians of the East is recruiting

FACE is a Christian charity which draws on 170 years' experience of helping Eastern Christians to remain in their homelands - the Biblical lands - where Christianity was born and first spread.

In partnership with our sister agency, Œuvre d'Orient, we enable people of all faiths and none in the Middle East, North Africa and the Horn of Africa to free themselves from a life of poverty, inequality and injustice.

Together with the local Christian communities, we aim to bring lasting change to those regions through education, healthcare, pastoral support and community projects.

We are now looking for two motivated, confident fundraisers to join our new and growing team:

Fundraising Manager - Individuals and Parishes

Job purpose: To build and develop supporter relationships with individuals, parishes and other groups, to inspire them about FACE and its work in order to increase income and help deliver the charity's goals. Working with the Director of Fundraising, the postholder will develop and implement strategies to acquire, engage and retain individual donors and to recruit and manage volunteers in parishes.

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours - full time (or 30 hours per week - 4 days per week)

Location: London with flexible working (staff working remotely during COVID-19 restrictions)

Salary: £35,000

Fundraising Manager - Trusts & Major Donors (job share)

Job purpose: To identify, develop and manage a pipeline of grant-making trusts, foundations, institutional donors and individual major donors, preparing funding applications for donors in the UK and overseas and securing gifts and grants in support of the charity's work.

Contract type: Permanent (job share)

Hours: Part-time (2.5 days or 3 days - number of days negotiable)

Location: London with flexible working (staff working remotely during COVID-19 restrictions)

Salary: £35,000
