Southwark: Black Lives Matter - parish priest's pastoral response

Fr Victor Darlington

Fr Victor Darlington is the parish priest of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Camberwell.

Originally from from Nigeria, he has spent the last 12 years in the Archdiocese of Southwark, eight of which have been spent ministering to a diverse and multicultural congregation in Camberwell, South East London.

He also provides pastoral guidance to two local schools: Sacred Heart and St Joseph's Infant and Junior Schools, both of which have a significant Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) community.

In this video he offers his pastoral response to the issue of 'Black Lives Matter' which, as Christians, concerns us all.
