Novena to St Anthony

Fr Mario Conte writes from Padua: We can learn a lot from St Anthony. Not only has he preceded us along the road to God, he also walks along the same road with us by giving us the light of his example and the strength of his support.

So from today, 31 May to 12 June, I will tell you the story of St Anthony, a young medieval nobleman who gave up a promising future as one of the King's knights to follow Christ and become one of the most loved saints in the world.
