International Women's Day - women thank Pope Francis!
Thursday, 8 March - is International Women's Day. Women around the world are writing to Pope Francis to thank him for his leadership on peace, nonviolence and disarmament and to share a vision of peace with him.

On International Women's Day, Pax Christi International will deliver notes to Pope Francis for his leadership on issues of peace and nonviolence, especially his strong stance against nuclear weapons and the arms trade. All women are invited to affirm this message using the form on the link below. If you would like to include your own words of support, please add them in the space provided.
"Dear Pope Francis: As a woman who wants peace, I am grateful for your leadership in affirming the gospel call to nonviolence and just peace and for your constant appeal for nuclear disarmament and an end to the arms trade."
