An Epiphany Message from Pax Christi International

Greetings in this new year!

Today we celebrate Epiphany, the 12th day of Christmas, the day the three wise men from the East, following a bright star, arrived in Bethlehem to honour the newborn baby Jesus, God incarnate.

Like the experience of the three wise men, who saw the vast mystery of God - eternal love - in a small child, an epiphany is a sudden perception of reality, often through a simple truth.

We invite you to follow the stars and walk this path of truth with Pax Christi and its partners around the world and enter 2018 ready to embrace and embody the simple truths of compassion, solidarity, sustainability and nonviolence.

May this year be one filled with many graces and profound peace.

In peace,

Marie Dennis & Bishop Kevin Dowling
Co-Presidents of Pax Christi International
