World AIDS Day 2017

World AIDS Day is being marked around the world today, 1 December.
A special Mass for World AIDS Day will take place at Farm Street Jesuit Church at 6pm on Monday, 4 December, to pray for and show solidarity with the 37 million women, children, and men living with HIV and AIDS - including the 100,000 here in the UK.
The Mass is being organised by the LGBT Catholics Westminster Pastoral Council. Music will be provided by the Beacon Music Group.
Fr David Stewart SJ will be the celebrant. The Lord Mayor of Westminster, Cllr Ian Adams, will be present. The Retiring Collection will be in aid of the Mildmay Hospital.
There will be a reception after the Mass including showing clips from the recently-launched video, Positive Faith - HIV & Christianity in the UK, funded by Public Health England. Retiring Collection in aid of the Mildmay Hospital.
