Oxford: Romero Lecture cancelled

Peruvian theologian, Gustavo Gutierrez OP, has had to cancel his Romero Memorial Lecture, scheduled to be given in Oxford on Thursday November 30th for health reasons.

The Archbishop Romero Trust and the Las Casas Institute said in a message: "We hope to be able to arrange a new date for 89-year-old Gustavo's visit and lecture at some stage in 2018. We pray that he will soon be in robust good health once again."
