London: Catholics in Fundraising summer reception

For the last six years, Catholics involved in fundraising have gathered for a twice yearly networking event. Working for charities such as Apostleship of the Sea, Aid to the Church in Need, Missio and others, the ‘Catholics in Fundraising’ forum has sought to keep Catholic fundraisers up to date with fundraising legislation and best practise and foster an awareness of this ministry and how it serves the Church and its mission.

This year’s summers reception will be addressed by Damian Conlin, of CAFOD’s fundraising department, and will brief attendees on the forthcoming Data Protection regulations (GDPR) which will apply from May 2018 and share how CAFOD has been preparing for the new requirements.
