Birmingham, London: Talks on life in Palestine after 50 years of occupation
The Jerusalem Legal Aid Centre (JLAC) is a pioneering Palestinian human rights organisation and CAFOD partner. Since its inception over 37 years ago, it has provided pro-bono legal aid and services to some of the poorest and most marginalised people and communities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
In a presentation entitled 'No Place Like Home' JLAC's Director Mr Issam Aruri and EU Project Coordinator Ms Shu'la Abdelhadi will be speaking about the realities of life under occupation on Saturday 28 January from 11am - 1pm in Birmingham and on Monday, 30 January in Southwark.
In Birmingham the presentations will be followed by a shared lunch, on Saturday 28 January from 11am - 1pm. At Selly Oak Methodist Church, Langleys Rd, Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 6HT.
The Southwark event takes place at Romero House on Monday, 30 January at 7pm
