Catholic-Shia dialogue in London

On Saturday, 3 December, Father Maximilian Musindai OSB from the Dar Comboni Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies in Cairo, who is one of the Academic Panel of College4 Life, and Fr William Skudlarek OSB, from OSB Interfaith Dialogue, were in London to meet with Dr Mohammed Shomali of the Islamic centre of England in Maida Vale, to plan the next Benedictine-Shia Inter-religious dialogue in Kenya, 2017.

On Sunday 4 December, the Benedictines visited Fr Abbot Martin Shipperlee OSB and Fr James Leachman OSB at Ealing Abbey and to work. They went on to record a programme at the Ahlulbayt TV in London on the progress in Catholic-Shia Inter-religious Dialogue. The Benedictines are flying back to Egypt today, (Monday).
