Saturday 23rd April (10.00am to 4.00pm)
Christian Rural and Environmmental Studies (CRES) Day at Ripon College, Cuddesdon nr. Oxford - "Climate Change after Paris". The day is opened up to a wider audience and Dr Paul Chambers from the Department of Energy and Climate Change is the guest speaker. Paul will give two talks on "Climate change, Paris and the Global Response" and "Climate change from the perspective of Indonesia, a developing country". A group of agencies and churches, including A Rocha UK, All We Can, CAFOD, Christian Aid, CCOW, the Church of England, Commitment for Life, Global Justice Now, Operation Noah, Progressio, and Tearfund are putting on this conference. It will offer a chance to get updates on what happened in Paris, reflect on Christian responses, share ideas and experiences, and learn about ways in which we can act to make a difference.
