Trident: Sowing seeds of peace
This year, 2016, is 'decision time' for Trident: will the UK take the first step towards a world without nuclear weapons or commit to at least another 50 years of them? A vote on renewal of Trident will be put before parliament in 2016, probably in September or October.
A series of three one-day workshops in London have been organised by peace organisations to help develop communication skills to 'tell the truth about Trident' as decision time fast approaches. The days will run from 10.30am - 4.30pm.
16 April: "Having More Productive Trident Conversations" Friends House, Euston
This will be an opportunity to explore some ways of having more productive Trident conversations with family, friends, colleagues and neighbours.
-
14 May: "Getting Your Message into the Media" Westminster Central Hall

-
18 June: "Making the Best Use of Social Media" Friends House, Euston
