London: Remembering the lost children of Gaza

About 504 children were killed this time last year, during Israel's 50 day bombardment of Gaza, which began on 8 July 2014. The names of these children were remembered in one north London street, today.
Volunteers from Camden Abu Dis Friendship Association (CADFA) wrote the names of each child on pieces of paper and invited passers-by next to Kentish Town station, to draw a flower or write a commemoration message, which was pinned to a board. Many people lined up to contribute.
The names included eight year-old boy Seraj, and nine year-old girl Meryam.
Some families lost all their children. Many children lost both their parents. Some families were completely wiped out.
The youngest child casualties were baby girls: 'Hala Shadi Abu Madi who was ten days old, (guessing from the surname it looks as though many family members died with her) and Shaimaa' Ibrahim Al Sheikh who lived for one week.
