Celebration of marriage at Clifton Cathedral

We attended the celebrating marriage Mass at Clifton Cathedral on Saturday 14th February.

What a joyous occasion it was throughout. From the introduction hearing our names read out amongst the other couples celebrating a special anniversary and on to the homily by Bishop Declan which made us feel very special. The words spoken by Bishop Declan came from the heart and reminded us of our wedding day, 25 years ago. Listening to the Bishop we felt as if the words were were personal to ourselves, I am sure everyone celebrating their special anniversary in the Cathedral felt the same.

All in all the Mass was a perfect way for us to celebrate our marriage. Thank you to Bishop Declan, Fr. Tom the clergy and the choir for making it a Mass to remember.
