London: an evening to celebrate Fairtrade
Fairtrade Fortnight, which begins today, is being marked by many events around the UK.
In London, Dr Mark Hayes, Author of ‘Fairtrade is still a Rich Harvest' and St Hilda Reader in Catholic Social Thought in Department of Theology and Religion, will be the guest speaker at an evening to celebrate Fairtrade at St John Vianney Parish Centre, 4 Vincent Road, London N15 3QH, this Friday, 27 February at 7pm. There will also be films, stalls and refreshments. (Nearest tube Turnpike Lane. Buses 41 and 67.)
Mark is a strong supporter of Fairtrade, with years of supporting small businesses in developing countries.
