London: Hear eyewitness report from Afghanistan
A member of London Catholic Worker, Henrietta Cullinan, will be speaking at Giuseppe Conlon House in Harringay, north London on Thursday, 12 February, about her recent trip to Afghanistan with Voices for Creative Nonviolence UK (VCNVUK), where she was able to see at first hand the excellent work of the Afghan Peace Volunteers. All are invited to attend this public event. Doors will open at 6.30pm to allow people to get settled in with a hot drink, and Henrietta's talk will begin at 7pm.
You can read more about VCNVUK on their website: http://vcnv.org.uk
...and on Henrietta's personal blog: https://henriettacullinan.wordpress.com

Feel free to forward this message and invite friends, family and colleagues. It would be much appreciated if you could RSVP if you plan to attend, especially if you would like to join the community for their free communal meal afterwards at 9pm (vegetarian options available).
Venue: Giuseppe Conlon House, 49 Mattison Road, Harringay, London N4 1BG.
