London: Concert to raise funds for young Palestinian musicians

Taverner's 'Lament for Jerusalem' will be performed by the Choir of London at 9.30pm this evening, at Christ Church Spitalfields, to raise funds for the Choir of London’s Bursary Scheme for young Palestinian musicians.

Under the scheme, each summer four teenagers from Palestine are brought to the UK for two weeks of intensive music tuition and cultural exchange with young British musicians.
